How to Get a Speaker for Your Community

The Astarte Project

Recognizing that women are social, ceremonial creatures, whose physiology affects their health throughout their life cycle, WHFI aims to help women establish movement programs in their communities that are meaningful and helpful to them at various stages of their lives. We are doing this via the two arms of the Astarte Project.

1. Development Assistance – those seeking a program to meet their needs in a given setting can contact WHFI and we will provide assistance in developing a program that you need.

2. Creating the List – WHFI is beginning to collect contact information for existing programs and individuals able to implement programs you may need. Those interested in being placed on the list can contact WHFI.

WHFI aims to bring the findings from research into the lives of women in ways that matter to women via the Astarte Project. As societies become more willing to hear women’s voices, we find that what is important to women has not always been the motivation for research and development in health, fitness and even beauty!

Women value their own tribal character – less aggressive and more nurturing than the men’s campfire – and find it useful as part of their conscious growth, development and healing processes. As it turns out, this is also an excellent model for supporting improved medical outcomes.
